Sarah Meek is a Jazz Vocalist, Songwriter, and Bandleader/Arranger based in Cardiff. Since graduating from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in 2016, she has performed extensively across the UK and internationally. Known for her powerful, versatile voice and engaging stage presence, Sarah draws from a wide-ranging musical palette and regularly collaborates with some of the country’s leading musicians.
Outside of performance, Sarah is deeply committed to making music accessible and meaningful. She runs Accôrdia Choir Cardiff, advocating for the positive impacts song has on wellbeing. Sarah is the Vocal Coach and accompanist for the Performing Arts department at Cardiff and Vale College. Privately, She teaches jazz, musical theatre, and popular styles of music, and works as a community musician, using music as a tool for healing. She is currently half way through her PGCE- PCeT, studying Further Education. A keen writer and environmentalist, she is also studying for a second degree in BSc Environmental Science, exploring the ways creativity and sustainability can work hand in hand.
