Lockdown has been a funny thing. My work is centred around social interaction, interacting with a band, crowd, organisers, students etc. One of the most fun things about being a Musician is meeting and playing with others! Through this I've made some wonderful friendships.
In adapting to 'lockdown life', a positive has been rekindling old friendships- Keeping in touch with old friends miles away who you wouldn't necessarily speak to for long periods. I've done a weekly gig on 'Facebook' for the past 2 weeks and have been able to play to friends and acquaintances up North in my hometown. Its been wonderful to reconnect. The wonders of technology!
This has also enabled me to record a little draft of a song with one of my best friends. It's called 'Palms'. Please enjoy and thank you friends!!
